Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, 

When I started this ministry, my greatest desire was to help people come into a life-changing relationship with God. This is only possible by getting to know God by studying the Bible.

Scripture is a magnificent overview of God's glorious intervention throughout history as He lifts mankind out of sin and presents each of us the chance at eternal life. This is only possible because of the life, ministry, self a giving death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Without guidance, understanding the Bible can be an intimidating task. There are many misinterpretations and misunderstandings of God's Word. The Word taught incorrectly can lead people away from life a giving relationship with Christ. Misunderstanding and misapplication of the Word contributes to cultural hostilities towards Christianity. It's important to rightly discern God's Word and His desire for our lives.

Only the Holy Spirit can fully illuminate the Bible. However, if you want a place to start, I'm here to help. My website walkthroughscripture.com is meant to open the door to understanding the Bible by offering short, easy-to-use lessons. Eventually, there will be lessons covering each book of the Bible (I'm working as fast as I can!).
